Tim Acke
Tim Acke (Aalst, b. 1979) has a soul that constantly urges him to create. He dedicates his life to exploring the boundaries and intersections between music and visual art. Born with a passion for both the auditory and the visual, he has immersed himself in a world where he experiments with sound, melody, harmony, color, and line work.
His obsession with drawing and music began at a young age and will likely never leave him. From the moment he could hold a pencil, he filled pages with caricatures, illustrations, and cartoons. He also experiments with painting, charcoal drawings, and quirky portraits of buildings, which he deforms and twists in his own unique way.
In addition to his visual creations, Tim is also an inspired musician. He plays saxophone and piano, sings, and writes his own work, crossing the boundaries of musical genres from classical to jazz, rock, and experimental.
